What the strip-out revealed
The ensuite needed a complete refurbishment. During strip-out, Nigel opened up the internal walls and found problems with the existing wall and insulation build-up, including visible mould in affected areas.
He stripped back the affected construction rather than covering it over, then rebuilt the wall build-up ready for waterproof boarding, tiling and the final fit-out.
